Work, work, work. The month of November was crazy, expositions, meetings, training courses. We apologize for not being very present, but we really did not have time to devote to the blog. We stayed twice in Germany, we were in Milan, Bologna, Rome, in fact, true spins. But will be back soon with our section on music, with our curiosity, our adventures to tell and to tell us. Chet Faker (born Nicholas James Murphy) is an Australian electronica musician. In 2012 he signed to Downtown Recordsin the United States and issued an extended play, Thinking in Textures. In October that year he won ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ and Thinking in Textures won ‘Best Independent Single/EP’ at the Australian Independent Records Awards. In January 2013 the work won ‘Best Independent Release’ at the Rolling Stone Australia Awards for 2012. His cover ofBlackstreet‘s “No Diggity” was featured in a 2013 Super Bowl commercial for Beck’s Sapphire.

DND STYLING: Berlin means fashion as well!

 

Berlin is known for its history, for that damn wall then shot down, but it is even much much more. It’s a city capable of kidnap, evolving, an explosive city that always surprises you and does not make you never get bored. What’s the role of Fashion in Berlin? Well, that too is beginning to get more and more space! And we have had the good fortune to meet one of the most emerging designers of the whole Germany, that Violetta Vio that within a few years is emerging in the Fashion World. DND Styling has excellent collaborations and wears celebrities such as Booka Shade, Mario Gomez, passing through Sibel Kelilli ( Game of Thrones ) and Lukasz Piszczek, not to mention the myriad of new projects she is working on . And one of these most likely will involve us, but to learn more we refer to the next. The fact is that among their blog and our blog we will start a joint venture, because a nice friendship was born. Suffice to say only this for now! Berlin then began to be known also for the Fashion and the question is: will never cease to amaze us this wonderful city?!

Berlino è conosciuta per la sua storia, per quel muro maledetto poi abbattuto, ma è molto molto altro ancora. E’ una città capace di rapirti, in continua evoluzione, una città esplosiva che ti soprende, sempre e comunque,  e non ti fa mai annoiare. Ed il Fashion che ruolo ha? Beh, anche quello inizia a farsi spazio, eccome! E noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare una delle stiliste più emergenti dell’intera Germania, quella Violetta Vio che nel giro di qualche anno si sta imponendo nel modo del Fashion in maniera sempre più travolgente. DND Styling conta ormai collaborazioni eccellenti e veste celebrità di tutto rispetto, dagli Booka Shade a Mario Gomez, da Sibel Kelilli (Game of Thrones) a Lukasz Piszczek, per non parlare della miriade di nuovi progetti a cui sta lavorando. E uno di questi molto probabilmente ci coinvolgerà, ma per saperne di più vi rimandiamo alla prossima. Sta di fatto che tra il loro ed il nostro blog stringeremo una join venture, perchè diciamo che è nata una simpatica amicizia. Vi basti sapere solo questo per ora! Berlino dunque inizia a farsi conoscere anche per il Fashion e la domanda nasce spontanea: finirà mai di stupirci questa città meravigliosa?!

Un’etichetta discografica tutta nostra, dove produrremo djs sperando di farli conoscere al mondo intero. DeVotchKa I’m a gypsy punk band American born in 1997 in Denver. Their name comes from a word meaning “little girlz” or “little girl”. The DeVotchKa are a group of four multi-instrumentalists artists (Nick Urata, Tom Hagerman, Jeanie Schroeder, Shawn King) and their music is classified primarily as gypsy punk. It is a mix of genres and influences coming mainly from Europe although the group is American. Originally they were born as an accompaniment to show “burlesque”, often with the queen of the genre: the model Dita Von Teese. Later, two of their songs have participated as a soundtrack in the film “Everything is Illuminated” and “Little Miss Sunshine”. In 2008 they were named the “best new band of Colorado” according to the newspaper The Phoenix. From ’97 on are authors of seven albums. The song chosen is “Clockwise Witness”, a song sweet, melodic and alternative dated 2008.

Originariamente sono nati come accompagnamento a show “burlesque”, spesso insieme alla regina del genere: la modella Dita Von Teese. In seguito due loro brani hanno partecipato come colonna sonora nei film “Ogni cosa è illuminata” e Little Miss Sunshine. Nel 2008 inoltre, vengono nominati come la “nuova miglior band del Colorado” secondo il giornale The Phoenix. Dal ’97 ad oggi sono autori di ben sette album. Il brano scelto è “Clockwise Witness”, un brano dolce, melodico e alternativo datato 2008.

This morning music comes directly from Australia! Benjamin Planr, Josh Moriarty, Aaron Shanahan, Daniel Whitechurch form the Miami Horror, indietronic very famous band in the world music scene. Their influences stem from a number of important artists of the dance-pop of 70-80 years as Prince, Michael Jackson, New Order mixed with sounds taken from other progressive rock bands like Pink Floyd and Supertramp. Plant is the founder of the group, the group was founded in 2008 and since then here is the first ep “Brevado.” After several exhibitions and live around the world, 2010 is the year of the consecration with the release of the album “Illumination”. I leave you to “Holidays” one of the singles of the album, I personally find beautiful either the song that the video shot in America, very ironic and dreamer!

Il buongiorno mattutino arriva direttamente dall’Australia! Benjamin Planr, Josh Moriarty,Aron Shanahan,Daniel Whitechurch formano i Miami Horror, band indietronic molto famosa nella scena musicale mondiale. I loro influssi derivano da alcuni importanti artisti della scena dance-pop degli anni 70-80 come Prince, Micheal Jackson,New Order mischiati insieme a suoni di progressive rock presi da altre band importanti come i Supertramp e i Pink Floyd. Plant è il fondatore del gruppo, il gruppo nasce nel 2008 e da vita sin da subito al primo ep “Brevado”. Dopo diverse esibizioni e live in giro per il mondo,il 2010 è l’anno della consacrazione con l’uscita dell’album “Illumination” Vi lascio a “Holidays” uno dei singoli dell’album, personalmente trovo bellissimo sia il brano sia il video girato in America molto ironico e sognatore!
