This morning it’s Dubstep’s turn. When it comes to this kind of music you can not speak of William Beaven. William Beaven, in art Burial, is recognized worldwide as one of the greatest artists of Dubstep . The project Burial was founded in 2005 under anonymity and after three years of productions and various identifications such as Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim ) and Richard James (Aphex Twin ), William is forced to reveal himself to the public. After having revealed his face to the public, Burial revealed in an interview that only five people close to him were aware of the fact that he was a music producer. Subsequently, in February of the same year, the British magazine the Indipendent publishes an article in which it is revealed that Beaven was a student at the Elliott School, a school in South London. Had studied in the same school even Joe Goddard, pianist and voice of Hot Chip and Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, an artist with whom Beaven has collaborated. His first self-titled album comes out in 2006, the year he released an album “Untrue” intended to be very successful so as to obtain the appointment as the second best album of the year by the British magazine “The Wire” and nominated for the Mercury prize. In 2012, his third album comes out “Kindred”. Innovator and researcher of sounds, his music brings a great charge going to change indelibly dubstep and creating that sub-genre called post-dubstep. Questa mattina è il turno del Dubstep. Quando si parla di questo genere non si può non parlare di William Beaven. William Beaven in arte Burial è riconosciuto a livello mondiale come uno dei massimi artisti del Dubstep. Il progetto Burial nasce nel 2005 sotto anonimato e dopo tre anni di produzioni e varie identificazioni come ad esempio Norman Cook (alias Fatboy Slim) o Richard James (Aphex Twin), William è costretto a rivelarsi al pubblico. Dopo essersi rivelato al pubblico, Burial rivelò in un’intervista che solo cinque persone a lui vicine erano al corrente del fatto che lui fosse un produttore musicale. Successivamente, nel febbraio dello stesso anno, la rivista inglese “The Indipendent” pubblica un articolo nel quale viene rivelato che Beaven era un alunno della Elliott School, una scuola della parte sud di Londra. Nella stessa scuola avevano studiato anche Joe Goddard, pianista e voce degli Hot Chip e Kieran Hebden, anche conosciuto come Four Tet, artista col quale Beaven ha collaborato. Il suo primo album omonimo esce nel 2006, l’anno successivo esce “Untrue” un album destinato a riscuotere grande successo tanto da ottenere la nomina come secondo miglior disco dell’anno dalla rivista inglese “The Wire” e la nomination per il Mercury prize. Innovatore e ricercartore dei suoni, la sua musica porta una grande carica andando a cambiare in maniera indelebile la dubstep e creando quel sottogenere chiamato post-dubstep.
