Tuesday morning we wake up with “Taro” by J. Alt. The Δ (pronounced Alt-J) are an English alternative indie pop quartet formed in 2007. The band consists of Gwil Sainsbury (guitar / bass guitar), Joe Newman (guitar / vocals), Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards) and Thom Green (drums) at the University of Leeds in 2007.Alt-J means Delta and is inspired by the Mac keyboard keys that pressed together just writes the Greek letter Delta. From 2007 to 2012 they produce 4 ep all moderately successful. An awesome “Wave” comes out in 2012, their first album for a considerable success, so as to bring him to win the prestigious award mercuty Prize. For the eclectic style, a mixture folk, pop and alternative-dump, the Alt-J were compared with Hot Chip, and the Wild Beasts to Everything Everything.

Martedì mattina ci svegliamo con “Taro” degli Alt J. Gli  (pronunciato Alt-J) sono un quartetto inglese di alternative indie pop costituitosi nel 2007. La band è costituita da Gwil Sainsbury (chitarra/chitarra basso), Joe Newman (chitarra/voce), Gus Unger-Hamilton (tastiere) e Thom Green (batteria) all’Università di Leeds nel 2007. Alt-J significa Delta ed è ispirata dai tasti della tastiera del Mac che premuti insieme scrive proprio la lettera greca Delta. Dal 2007 al 2012 compongono 4 ep tutti di discreto successo. Nel 2012 esce An awesome Wave, il loro primo Album destinato ad un notevole successo, tanto da portargli a vincere il prestigioso premio mercuty Prize. Per lo stile eclettico, con miscugli folk, dump-pop e alternative, gli Alt-J sono stati paragonati agli Hot Chip, ai
Wild Beasts e agli Everything Everything.
